These specialized committees advise ISO-NE in specific areas of expertise, to coordinate activities and evaluate requirements.
The Competition NOPR Working Group was initiated in response to the Notice of Proposed Rulemaking issued by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission on February 22, 2008 regarding Wholesale Competition in Regions with Organized Electric Markets.
Evaluates current and potential alternative allocation methods and recommends the most efficient and fair method of allocating costs to the New England stakeholders.
Stakeholder forum to discuss process for implementing market efficiency transmission upgrades and economic studies
Promotes greater regional reliability of the electric and natural gas systems through improved education, understanding, communications and coordination.
Stakeholder forum to address the issue of coordination between the Forward Capacity Market and the FERC Generator Interconnection Process and to develop a set of proposed Market Rule 1 and Open Access Transmission Tariff changes to be filed with FERC.
The IPSAC will be the primary means for providing stakeholder input for the development of the Northeastern Coordinated System Plan (NCSP).
Regional forum for interested parties to provide input to ISO-NE concerning the assessment and development of the Regional System Plan (RSP) and the conduct of system enhancement and expansion studies. Any entity may designate a member to the PAC by providing written notice to the PAC Secretary.
Stakeholder forum to discuss future resource development scenarios for the New England region.
